I’ll have pics soon, I’ve finished my second deathripper (with the sanquine underbase) its my first offical item on my list. I’ve got a slayer, stalker, neco tech, scrap thralls, dyrills and Morty primered. I picked up my second slayer and my withcrshadow today so thats the models I need for my list. I’m looking good to have my army done for my event (Sept 19).
I want to give a thanks to IMI on the privateer boards, I got a good bit of extras for my cryx in a trade. I know he still has some stuff if anyone else is interested.
Fiona, first draft
Finally snapped a pic. She isn’t really done, but I need to move on to another figure. Plus my brushes need cleaning, I’m really not getting any sort of fine detail on this without ending up hitting another area. And I really need to fix my black build, and learn to take better pics 😉 ANYWAY, overall happy with the direction this is going, even if she looks a bit meh at this stage.
Small typed update only, sorry I will work on getting some pictures soon, like when I can convince bobaferret or maybe work on picture taking by myself…..need my vacation for that though.
Rowdy and a lancer are painted and finished.
Every model is on their broken temple bases, and all of the prior painted minis have their temple bases painted as well.
I also have all models assembled in the collection, all that needs paint is
di bray, piper, defender, hunter, atgm with their dude, regular caine, laddermore and thorn.
So looking through my paint I saw my Saquine Base and thought it might work better as the base instead of warlock purple. So I gave it a try. I kind of up in the air about it so I thought I’d post for reactions. Left is new, Right is original.
I’m moving along on the models. I’ve pick up the necotech and stalker…and let me say the stalker has got to be the most awkward jack to put together. I had to make a special base for it. My withershadow combine and slayer will be coming in my pg order next month. So I should be moving right along on this.
Thanks for any comments.
Grim Angus, my warlock of choice for the Ta-Ta Kriel. I had fun painting him, though I agonized over the assorted browns on the model. It was interesting seeing how many variants I could come up with. I was particularly happy with the light tan leather longcoat in the end.
